After releasing their collaboration in December last year Just Hold On was a great success for Steve Aoki and Louis Tomlinson with the song becoming number one on the iTunes charts in many countries around the world. The song was released after Louis' mother Johannah Deakin sadly passed away after a long battle with leukemia.
Yesterday they released the long awaited music video. Tomlinson decided to not make an appearance in the video, but just let the video speak for itself. Steve Aoki is briefly seen, but the video is mostly focused on the 2 main characters in the video.
Just Hold On is a great up tempo EDM/dance song. Tomlinson's' clear vocals fit well with the positive message of the song. In the video we witness a meeting in London between a young white woman and young black guy and together they go on an adventure. From meeting in London to falling and love and getting married in Las Vegas, to watching the sun set Kuwait.
The video is beautifully filmed with a hint of futuristic time traveling. It has a very carefree vibe that makes you want leave everything behind and go on adventure. A very fitting video considering the positive vibe of the song.
What do you think of the music video for Just Hold On? Do you like it or would you rather have seen something else?
